![]() ![]() Some questions you can ask yourself along the way are: can you think of different ways of expressing an idea? Can you explore different ideas for the same assignment? Can you try out different techniques, mediums, shapes, materials, concepts etc. These are all things we encourage you to do. This could be in text, sketches, notes, pictures, videos etc: whatever suits your method of working. Do you experiment with different techniques, materials, proportions, mediums, etc.? Show us the results of these experiments, even if you are not happy with them or do not use them in the end. Whichever way you work, show us the development of your ideas. Perhaps you don’t know what the end result is going to be and let the process of experimentation lead you to the end result. Perhaps you will start with one idea, but along the way the idea starts to change. Show us the different ideas/sketches/designs you have, even if you think they are bad or not interesting. When coming up with your end result, do you have more than one idea? More often than not, your first idea isn’t your best idea. Do you do research into a certain topic, technique or material? Share this research. Do you start with inspiration? If so, show us what and who inspires you and how you use that inspiration in your own work. The process leading up to the result is just as important as the final result.īy “process” we mean the journey you take towards your final result. We are interested in what you make of it, how you set up your work and how you communicate through visual language. ![]() We would like you to show us your personal approach to topics and ideas. We want to get to know you and see if you and WdKA are a good fit.Īll these assignments have in common that they allow you to show us how you like to work and what fascinates you. There are six assignments, two of which you have to complete. We do not expect you to be super skillful in a technical way. ![]()
